Immersed in the heart of Europe, Vienna, the vibrant capital of Austria, is a dazzling fusion of historical grandeur and contemporary vitality. In this unparalleled setting, 42 Vienna opened its doors in October 2022, following two years of preparation during an unprecedented global health crisis. Throughout the Piscines, the dedicated staff at 42 Vienna channel their energies towards understanding and addressing the needs of their candidates. A dynamic range of sports activities and the supportive guidance of a life coach are available to encourage a harmonious work-life balance. After successfully conducting two Piscines in 2022, 42 Vienna is gearing up to host three in the current year, and planning both winter and summer sessions for the upcoming 2024.
Vienna isn’t only a shrine to the past; it has gracefully embraced the future. The city has evolved into a burgeoning hotspot for entrepreneurship and innovation, relentlessly pursuing excellence and effectiveness as a Research, Technology, and Innovation (RTI) location. 42 Vienna makes good use of its position and has, as of 2023, 14 partners* from different economic sectors, from banking, life sciences, paper, wood and metal processing, to sensor and security technology.

The demand is really high, as Vienna and Austria are transitioning to become not only a geographical center of Europe but also an IT center in Europe. The biggest challenge is to find well-trained employees in a wide variety of areas, including IT. 30,000 IT specialists are lacking in Austria today — and this number would only go up without innovative training programs like 42.
